Treyarch To Release Call Of Duty Title Loaded With Innovation Later This Year

Activision has officially announced that Treyarch is working on a Call of Duty title for release later this year. The upcoming is pencilled in for the usual Q4 release, with Activision claiming this new outing will be “loaded with innovation.”

The upcoming title will be Treyarch’s first Call of Duty game to benefit from the new three-year development cycle. Having previously worked on Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, thoughts inevitably turn to a third Black Ops outing, but this may not be the case if a possible recent leak is anything to go by.

A rather sketchy leak hints at a possible game dubbed Call of Duty: Borderlines, although this is anything but concrete yet. Predictably Activision believes Treyarch’s new title will be “one of our best games yet.”
