Take-Two Games Registers Mafia 3 Domains

It appears that Mafia 3 is about to get announced as Take-Two Games has registered a number of “Mafia 3″ domains. According to earlier leaks, Mafia 3 will let players control three characters: Franklin, Tony and Michael. Our guess is that the game will be officially revealed at this year’s Gamescom. Below you can find some screenshots as a means of proof that Mafia 3 is real and is coming.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is Heading in the Right Direction

There are certain things people expect to see and experience year after year. Whether its holidays, birthdays, football season, the list could go on and on. As video game enthusiasts, there are certain titles that we expect on a yearly basis. In the last few years, that title has been Assassin’s Creed. Every year we see a new installment and from the look of it, the franchise doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Later this year, players will getting their hands on Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. So far, Syndicate looks to be similar to its predecessors in many ways, with only a few features being added.
The game is set in 1868 London, at the height of the Industrial Revolution. Players take control of two assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, who are trying to take back London from the Templar corruption. Visually, Syndicate looks absolutely stunning, capturing the essence of the Victorian era. From the appearance of the NPCs to the overall look of The Elizabeth Tower, Syndicate has a great attention to detail. With four months before launch, the game’s graphics will only improve. In the demo, players take control of Jacob, who must assassinate a Templar leader. The combat is similar but there are elements that have been added. Fighting is more brutal and focuses on hand-to-hand combat. For the first time in an Assassin’s Creed title, the franchise has introduced systemic vehicles that effects all aspects of gameplay, which includes navigation, stealth and fight. When chasing an enemy on a vehicle, players will be able to ram pursuers. While this can be effective, enemies will be able to do the same to the player as well. Enemies can either ram players off the road or hijack the vehicle, which can then lead to a fight to break out on top of it.
One of the gameplay elements that takes influence from the Arkham series, is the Rope Launcher, a traversal tool that helps players go quickly up and across buildings. The Rope Launcher can also be used as a horizontal fast travel as well, which makes maneuvering not only faster, but easier.Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate has the capability to be one of the better installments in the franchise. With top-tier graphics and a few new additions to gameplay, Syndicate is heading in the right direction.

Rainbow Six Siege Looks to be the Definitive Rainbow Six

Rainbow Six Siege is Ubisoft Montreal’s reboot of the Rainbow Six franchise. Only scheduled for release on current-gen consoles, Ubisoft is looking to give fans of the series a breath of fresh air and start with something completely new.We saw and experienced some intense gameplay during our time with Rainbow Six Siege. Before we took the controllers ourselves, we watched intently as the developers played out the scenario before us — literally and figuratively as there was only one available — on the game’s hardest difficulty. The most intriguing part, however, was when Ubisoft started talking about the game’s added PVE element and how it will work.
If you’re a Rainbow Six fan and you’ve been burned out of multiplayer and the possibly added single-player campaign just wasn’t enough, you can play out PVE scenarios with four other people. These scenarios will work out as so:Ubisoft’s Siege Generator will mix and match all of the variables in the game in an attempt to always create an authentic experience. One of the 11 worldwide locations will be randomly chose along with whether or not it will take place during the day or night.Of the four game modes that will be available it will randomly choose which side you’ll be on and which you’ll be playing. Objective locations will randomly spawn along with preset fortifications for you or the computer.Enemy AI will spawn and react and adapt to your every decision ensuring that each match will be different from the last.Keeping with the last point, Ubisoft is also touting it’s strongest AI to date. In a series known for its strategy, they don’t want the game to become another Call of Duty clone where running and gunning is the best and only available option. The AI in Rainbow Six Siege will be intelligent and offer up a challenge if you plan to play on the hardest difficulty. Even if you plan on playing on normal the enemy will still change tactics depending on what you’re doing always creating another obstacle.
There’s still much to be seen from Ubisoft Montreal and Rainbow Six Siege’s development. With the game’s launch a mere few months away and major work still being done, it’ll be interesting to see how this title turns out. Rainbow Six Siege is scheduled to release October 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate creative director promises the PC version will "shine"

Ubisoft has developed a reputation over the years for announcing a game's release date and then, a month or so before it arrives, pushing the PC version back by a few weeks. And then maybe a few weeks more. It managed to break that unfortunate habit last year with Assassin's Creed: Unity, which even then really did not go well at all. (In an ironic twist, Unity made it on schedule but Ubisoft later had to delay one of the patches meant to get it into playable shape, because of "quality control" issues.) With Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, it's taking a slightly different approach."We've got an internal team that's dedicated to the PC version, and one of the things that I'm happy about is that we're really taking our time with the PC version to really make it shine," Creative Director Marc-Alexis Côté told us at E3. "We want the game to really work well on the PC on day one, which is why it's not the same launch [date] as the Xbox One and the PS4 versions. It will come a bit later in the fall, but I think it will be worth the wait.""We're working really hard on optimizing the game, making it run smoother on a wider range of PCs," he added, when the question of Unity's abysmal performance on high-end hardware came up. "We're really dedicating a team to working on this and making sure it shines."You may recall that Ubisoft previously re-dedicated itself to the PC last year, just a few months prior to the launch of Unity. Even so, I maintain hope that it will work out this time—but we'll have to see it for ourselves. Assassins' Creed: Syndicate is coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 23, and to the PC at some point after that, presumably before the end of 2015.

Microsoft Will Announce More Xbox One Games Coming To The PC In The Next Few Months

At this year’s E3, Microsoft revealed that Gears of War Ultimate Collection and Killer Instict are coming to Windows 10. Naturally, a lot of gamers are not convinced about Microsoft’s intentions, which is why they’ve been asking for even more Xbox One games coming to the PC. And according to Microsoft’s Kudo Tsunoda, the company will announce more PC games in the coming months.
As Kudo Tsunoda told MaximumPCMag when asked about Halo or Tomb Raider coming to the PC:
“You know we can’t have any announcements about that stuff today, but for sure there is going to be a lot more, you know, a lot more announcements coming as we roll towards Gamescom.”
So far, three Xbox One titles are coming to the PC. These are Fable Legends, Killer Instict and Gears of War Ultimate Edition. Both Fable Legends and Killer Instict will support cross-platform play between Xbox One and PC.

Xbox Live’s Major Nelson Hints At Halo: The Master Chief Collection Coming To The PC

During this year’s PC Gaming E3 2015 conference, Phil Spencer revealed that Gears of War Ultimate Edition will be coming to the PC. However, it’s no secret that PC gamers want more triple-A games from Xbox One in order to be convinced that Microsoft truly intends to embrace the PC platform. And Major Nelson hinted at the Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to the PC.

When Boogie2988 told Major Nelson to release the Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to show their support to the PC platform, Major Nelson responded and said that the ‘message’ was received.
Now while this is not a confirmation, it does show that Microsoft is well aware of what games should be ported to the PC. And by that, we mean Gears of War, Halo and Forza.
The good news is that a PC version of Gears of War 4 was already hinted at the PC Gaming E3 2015 conference, so here is hoping that Microsoft will deliver this time around.

E3 2015: Does Batman Die in Arkham Knight?

During the reveal of the newest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer, the narrator announced one of the most intriguing tidbits of information yet: Batman dies in Arkham Knight. Now whether or not this is true or is simply being used to drum up hype remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain: the words, “This is how the Batman dies” were uttered during Sony’s Press Conference. This was said before new footage showed an insane, zombie filled clip of first-person gameplay, so this could simply be a brand new mode. Nonetheless, this new development is going to fuel a lot of speculation over the next week.

E3 2015: Brand New Hitman Details Released

Square Enix revealed some big details about the simply-titled Hitman, the publisher’s newly announced series reboot.According to the publisher, every NPC has a name now and every room matters. You’ll have the freedom to kill anyone you want in any way you desire, giving players an unprecedented level of freedom. Brute force is certainly an approach you can take, or you can orchestrate a masterpiece of assassination. There will be user-created contracts as well, giving Hitman a potentially-unlimited replay value over its lifetime. Mastering stages unlocks new abilities and new locations. Some targets will only be made available at small intervals, and when they’re dead, they’re dead forever.Hitman will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 8.

E3 2015: Call of Duty: Black Ops III Details Revealed

Black Ops III is one of the biggest releases of the year, and new details emerged about the highly anticipated first-person shooter at E3.In the campaign, you can customize your weapons, which is something that the Call of Duty series has been lacking for quite some time. You can play as a male or female soldier, the latter being a first for the normally machismo-driven franchise, and give the player characters a bit of personality to decide just what kind of soldier they would be.Bipedal robots will now be available for use, and weapons outside of guns will be available, including crossbows. Fast action and wall-running are now available, meaning that Treyarch is attempting to bring in some of Titanfall’s parkour into the Call of Duty series. Advanced Warfare touched on it, but only at a surface level.Black Ops III looks to be a great shooter for anyone who enjoys fast action, but hasn’t gotten into Call of Duty just yet.

E3 2015: Gears of War 4 PC Release Hinted

During the PC Gaming Conference at E3, The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson teased that Gears of War 4 could be headed to Windows 10 PCs in the future.Microsoft has been committed to merging its Xbox Division with its Windows 10 division, as is evidenced by the amount of Xbox One titles also releasing on PC. If Gears of War 4 does wind up coming out on PC, it could wind up being one of the best looking games available on computer screens ever, if yesterday’s gameplay demo is to be believed.Gears of War 4 is currently set for release in Holiday 2016.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands Not Coming This Year, Has Single Player and Takes Place in The Present

Earlier this evening Ubisoft surprised us all by announcing another Ghost Recon game coming from its Paris studio. Personally, I’d have take a new Splinter Cell – but whatever.
Very few details were given on the new third-person shooter, but thankfully Ubisoft’s chief sat down and spoke to Geoff Keighley about the game and in the process he revealed some new details.
The teaser trailer showed that there would be a multiplayer mode, but didn’t really allude to any single-player content. For those who enjoy their single-player campaigns – fear not, it has one. According to Ubisoft, Ghost Recon: Wildlands will feature a single-player campaign that can be played with friend in multiplayer – a bit like Far Cry 4, isn’t it?
Most Ghost Recon games tend to take place a little ahead of our own time but with Wildlands we’ll be fighting very much in the present instead of the future. It’s an odd move as it means it’s nota full-on sequel to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Bit of a shame really as Future Solider was actually pretty good and the characters were likeable enough, but it really felt like we needed a bit more to really appreciate their traits, something that could have been done with a sequel. That’s not to say we won’t see a follow-up in the future, but for now we’ll have to make do with the open-world offering that’s most certainly not coming this year, as stated by the Ubi-Boss.

Square Enix Teases Six Unannounced or Surprise Games at E3 2015

Square Enix just released a teaser video of its E3 2015 line-up, and the video mentions that we’re going to see more of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Just Cause 3Deus Ex: Mankind DividedDragon Quest Heroes and Life is Strange.
What’s even more interesting is that the video also teases what seem to be six unannounced or surprise titles, replaced by censorship rectangles and “beeeps.”
You can check it out below, and start guessing on what we’ll see. Just remember that some of those “beeeps” might be localization announcements of games that have already been mentioned for Japanese release (Star Ocean 5 is very good candidate, for instance). They could even represent games whose showing would be a surprise, like Kingdom Hearts 3.
Incidentally, the audio definitely recalls Chrono Trigger. Whether this means something or not, your guess is as good as mine.

Prince Of Persia Voice Actor Hints At E3 2015 Reveal For Ubisofts Latest PoP Adventure

A recent tweet sent out by a videogame voice actor appears to have spilled the beans on an alleged Prince of Persia reveal during Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference.Robin Atkin Downes, who’s done voice work for big-hitters like Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, Skyrim, Team Fortress 2 and more, tweeted out a Prince of Persia-themed reply to Ubisoft’s original message on Twitter, which read “E3 2015 is almost here. Get your first look at what Ubisoft will be bringing to the show”.Downes responded to Ubisoft’s message with “Looking forward to it! #PrinceOfPersia and #georgewashington will be there”, more or less hinting we could see more from the platforming prince at E3. He has previous too, voicing the Prince in 2004’s Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
Rumours have been flying about a new Prince of Persia game for years now, and for a while it looked as if Ubisoft had simply changed its plans and plastered Assassin’s Creed over what was to be a Prince of Persia, with AC Chronicles: China. This may, or may not, be the case, but it’s been five years now since the last proper title in the series - Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. PoP isn’t the cash cow other Ubisoft properties are so it’s little surprise we haven’t seen an outing for years, but all signs are pointing towards a reveal at Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference on Monday, June 15 at 3PM PT / 6PM ET / 11PM BST.

Rumour: Dark Souls 3 To Be Announced At E3 2015

Reports are surfacing a Dark Souls 3 is in the works at From Software, and it’s going to be published by Bandai Namco once more. Dark Souls III is apparently set for a full E3 2015 unveiling, although it’s currently unclear whether it will be appearing in any of the main conferences.Long-time Dark Souls fans will be delighted to find out Hidetaka Miyazaki is once more at the helm, having skipped directing Dark Souls II to work on Bloodborne. The director created the original Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls, before moving on to a supervisory role for Dark Souls II.It seems a little early for a Dark Souls III announcement, particularly considering Bloodborne has only just come out and has an expansion in the works. As such, we wouldn’t hold out hope for a Dark Souls 3 2015 release, this one’s going to be at least 2016.As to where Dark Souls 3 is going to be revealed, it looks as Sony’s E3 2015 Press Conference will be getting the nod. Hopefully this isn’t anything to do with PlayStation exclusivity, but we doubt this would be the case at this point, Sony would likely be more interested in a Bloodborne sequel.

Fallout 4 To Be Announced Tomorrow

Fallout fans, get ready for a treat. A new website from Bethesda went live a couple of hours ago, suggesting that a new Fallout announcement will be made tomorrow. And thanks to its source code, we can report that this game will be no other than Fallout 4.
As we can see below, there is a cross domain revealing this new title. Bethesda was quick to react and removed this reference, however fans have already screen-grabbed it.
