Ryse PC Coming Next Month, Requirements Inside

Last month, we reported the joint announcement by Crytek and Deep Silver detailing the release of Ryse PC. Today, the Steam page has been updated, revealing the actual date – 10 October – and the minimum & recommended requirements, which you can find below.

Minimum requirements:
OS: Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7 or Windows 8 (64bit)
Processor: Intel Dual-Core 2.8 GHz/ AMD Dual-Core 3.2 GHz or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB video RAM
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 26 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX compatible Sound Card with latest drivers

Recommended requirements:
OS: Windows Vista SP1, Windows 7 or Windows 8 (64bit)
Processor: Intel Quad-Core or AMD Octo-Core
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX 11 graphics card with 4 GB video RAM
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 26 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX compatible Sound Card with latest drivers

It should be noted that these recommended requirements, in particular the 4GB video RAM requirement, are specifically geared towards 4K resolution. You won’t need a video card with 4GB of video RAM if you intend to run the game at lower resolutions, so don’t be too scared; Crysis 3 was very well optimized, and there is good reason to have faith in Crytek’s technical prowess. Stay tuned on Worlds Factory for more on Ryse PC.
