Dishonored 2 Rumors Could Prove To Be True!

According to a couple of news outlets this week, all of those rumors that have been flying around about Dishonored 2 could prove to be true. The second installment to the game series is expected to be revealed at Gamescon 2014. The game is expected to be released in the next year and when it is, will be compatible with the PC, Xbox One and PS4. This is not the first time that the rumors were almost confirmed. Bethesda has been giving subtle hints about the second game in the series here and there, so if you have been paying attention you would have caught that.
The sequel to the popular original is expected to be called Dishonored 2: Darkness of Tyvia, but even with a name video game reporters were not sure the game would ever become a reality. At the E3 convention this year, the game was partnered with a fact sheet, but that did not seem to be enough confirmation in anyone’s eyes at the time. One online source reportedly posted information from an unnamed source that show that production on the game has picked up.
If the rumors are right, the new game will feature Harvey Smith as the lead with a new protagonist. The new character has yet to be named, however it was rumored that players would be able to take on the role of Emily Kaldwin suggesting a later time period for the game. As of right now, video game lovers from all over the world will take whatever information they can get, even if it is only rumors. That is the general consensus of the current rumors in regards to gameplay, the release date is a whole other rumor mill.
Because there are plenty of places to find rumors online, it can be hard to narrow it down to actual information. When sources are not named and the information is old, it will not be credible most of the time. The release date for Dishonored 2 was rumored for 2015 for a little while now and by more than one source. The exact release day, or even month was not mentioned until this week. According to an online source, an email tipster brought the release date to their attention.
It would appear that Gamescon is where you are going to hear the most about the game and that it should be on store shelves by November of next year. That is just in time for the busy, holiday shopping season. Bethesda has not commented on the rumors or any other information at this time, but that is expected to change as the release date gets closer.
