Assassin's Creed: Unity Release Date Delayed to November

Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Unity by two weeks and confirmed the title will have a Day One patch.

The latest entry in the franchise will now launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 11 in North America and November 13 in Europe and Australasia. The delay has been attributed to the developer's desire to polish the game.
"As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” says Vincent Pontbriand, senior producer at Ubisoft. “We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”

In the US, this means Assassin's Creed Rogue will release the same day as Unity and Ubisoft has announced it wants to mirror this in Europe and Australasia. As a result, Assassin's Creed Rogue will now hit these territories two days later than planned on November 13.
